Bliss

The much awaited evening 
We would know what for us is stored in
Anxiety, curiosity, worry and tension
The added excitement and frustration..
Has god planned to present us now?
Is it today?

Finally the moment arrives
N we see  the beautiful lines on the device 
The lines which I was dying to see
Filled my heart with gratitude and glee...
God had heard me, he had!! 

The first sign that god showed us,
That there was a bun in the oven..
Tears of happiness and delight 
In My eyes blurring my vision
Not able to realise all this was true...

Now, with eagerness we wait 
To see our little one's first ever portrait
And yes! The almighty showed us that
With the little heartbeats too..
Oh my oh my...is this a dream?
 Or Am I seeing the flickering on the screen?

There is another life in me...
My baby, my life, my reason to live...
My heartbeat, my happiness n a part of myself!!
Oh Allah! Protect my angel, keep it under your care
And thank you for the most beautiful phase of my life...

Can't wait to hold you
Can't wait to cuddle you
Can't wait to see you..
But my only option is to wait 
Is it a princess or prince in my fate??

Well, be it pink 
Be it blue
Eagerly but patiently, this mum to be is waiting for you....
